Best places to ski in Austria

Hey im going to be in Austria this season until january 1st. Im trying to plan some trips and such but Im having a hard time figuring out what the best places are? Ill be on a budget so im not trying to go to a five star resort. Also more of an all mountain skier rather than a park guy. Any advice?????

Western Austria for sure. I've skied alot around Austria and the west is definitely where it's at, especially if you're not interested in park.
Salzburgerland is ok, but in general not such burly mountains as in Tirol or Vorarlberg.
- Stuben
- St. Anton am Arlberg
- Ischgl
- Obertauern (this is in Salzburgerland. Sick place though. BIG mountains and very high. Good snow because of the altitude)
- Mayrhofen
- Sölden
Except for Obertauern, those resorts are all in the west, where it's at generally. Higher, bigger mountains. Better terain and more snow.

I spent a week in Ischgl, It was crazy, but the pow dump we had lasted all week. No one was skiing it. Good times.
