Advice for Roommate Issue.

Alright NS, here's the problem. I did a random roommate for a college apartment this year. There's 4 of us in total and I get along with 2 of them fine(party, hang out, chill ..), but the one I have issues with. Up until this point we never the great friends, but we still would party together and talk now and then. Well, I got tipped off that this kid posted some hateful shit about me on twitter the other day about how he hates me and can't believe he got stuck with me. Not sure if he was drunk, or whatever. Either way, I feel like kicking his ass now for being so fake.

So NS, what should I do? Been thinking for a bit and so far all I can say is just go up to him and ask him whats up.

Kick his ass because he doesn't like you? What are you in middle school? Just talk to him about, who knows maybe you guys can get everything out there and settle your differences. Don't create more tension than there already is.

talk to him. maybe you do shit that drives him crazy without even knowing it. it's not easy living with other people...especially people you don't even know.

fighting is reserved for rare occasions such as witnessing a woman get hit or a child abused. other than that you should be using your words. sounds like uve got a roommate that every single person who ever gets a roommate will eventually find.

Call him out. do it respectfully. the key in these situations is to make him realize that it is shitty to do this. Do not argue do not curse. simply tell him its super shady to be running around talking about you behind your back. You respect him and as a roommate he should do the same for you. If he has a problem with you in the future you will be more than willing to talk it over with him but If he cant handle that then maybe he should explore other living arrangements.

Be the adult, dont feed the negativity, it only devalues your quality of life. Be honest and genuine and most importantly respectful. If you want to get it, give it.
