We have all been injured in sports and I have personally found that medical devices suck. Our teams product is a portable cooling system to replace the current device that people with acl or knee surgery have. This device would look like a camelback but would house an ice pack that water would flow around. This would have a small pump powered by a litium ion battery. This pump would push water around the ice and through a hose that would be connected to a jacket that surrounds the injured area. This camelback inflamation reducing device would have multiple attachments so you could use it for a broken back, arm, collarbone, torn acl, mcl, or any other area where the dr prescribes ice. It would also have a timer so the device could cycle on and off to mimic removal of ice from a injured area.
In short
Imagine a camelback filled with ice that pumps ice water to a injured body part through a hose for reduction of inflamation. This device can be recharged, reused, easily carried on the back, programmed and, additional attachments for different body parts.
