Roommate is intolerable

My roommate has been drunk almost every night. I moved in two weeks ago. That isn't even the worst of it. He has railed coke with his friends in my room and he has shot up heroin while I was in the restroom. The coke was definitely pushing it for my nerves but the heroin is were I lost it and told him that he needs to control himself and realize what in the fuck he is doing and that I will not accept it. He says he's been "trying to quit" but today he seemed way the fuck out of it. Just last weekend I was written up for coming into my room to pick up a few things and the RA ended up walking down the hall looking into my room and saw beers bottles on my roommates desk. I ended up getting my second write up even though I was not even drinking. Next time I could be looking at being kicked out of my housing.

I tried to switch out of my dorm last week but my RA told me I should just see if it works. She also told me finding me a place to go for housing is going to be a challenge since they have all the housing units basically full. I don't want to get my roommate in trouble but it may be for the best for him and me cause shit has gotten out of hand.

If hes a heroin addict get a safe and keep your valuables under lock and key. Addicts who are short on change will no doubt steal your stuff and pawn it so they can get a fix.

Yeah shooting heroin is pretty fucked up. Did you tell that to your ra? cause that'll prolly get him kicked out immediately.

I had a really really shitty roommate last year. He was kinda the opposite though, he did literally nothing but play videogames, be a whiny bitch about the world and be an asshole to everyone. The longer you live with him the more you'll grow to hate him

yeah i had a buddy in college who got a little too hooked on blow, stole a zip and about $1k from his roommate, another $350 from a friend across town and dipped to alaska. and we all thought we knew this kid. lock your shit up

Its just the fact that he will get kicked out. But its worth it. If anything I'm doing him a favor and not letting him fuck his life over even more. One of my suite mates that lives next to me is chill and down to talk to the RA too because he's witnessed some crazy ass shit going I'm my room.


The wack thing is I have seen kids mug people and rob houses for weed so once I saw him doing coke I realized I could not trust the guy. I'm going to talk to the RA when she comes back from dinner.

my new room mate seems like a nice guy, but is the most socially awkward person I have ever met (you wouldn't meet him unless he was forced to meet you). First day we have new neighbours so I'm like "we should go introduce ourselves" he is like "you can, i'm not". So I think that is a little weird but whatever.

It's been a month and he still literally does EVERYTHING in his office chair in his room with his door closed. The only door he EVER closes is his bedroom door when he is in it. I only ever see him when he is cooking food, or if we are walking to class. He leaves every other door open including his bathroom, with no fan, after taking a nasty shit. He NEVER remembers to turn of the lights in the living room, when I see it on at night I have to wake up and turn it off because I KNOW he is locked in his room. He leaves the oven on as well.

Anyways that's all normal room mate problems. The biggest thing is his complete social retiredness. He can take NO social queues at all. I have told him multiple times about his office chair, which he is ALWAYS in, which is squeaky as fuck, and he still will not fix it. I also turn of the lights VERY loud when I am up, and remind him all the time when I see him leave them on.

He also will show up at the bus stop late, when there is a line up of people who have been waiting longer than us, and just barges in front of them. He thought the people upstairs were playing music, so to see if it was them he pressed his ear up against the door, and another neighbour saw this and was like "wtf is he doing". Then another time he actually knocked on the door, and a guy answered it and he said "never mind it's not you" and walked away. These were both at like 1am.

He watches cartoons, plays pokemon and only eats food that children eat (chicken fingers, pizza. He doesn't drink. Literally only drinks milk water and apple juice.

Seriously he seems like a nice guy, but is like borderline autistic sometimes. I'm fairly socially awkward and he makes me look totally normal. It's also like living along.

Hes prolly an engineer. Seriously, every kid in my chem eng class is either asian or socially awkward. I wore my on3p shirt one say and this kid asked me if i played wow cause of the grizzlycorn on my shirt. Im like dafuq dude? Ihe then told me that he used to ski but then he grew too old for it....

I hada buddy die last year in the dorms from a heroin overdose. Honestly you don't really have to worry about heroin addicts because they are always so tranquil. You really only have to worry about hardcore meth addicts, crack addicts, and people who are really addicted to cocaine. I would just fuckin talk to him tell him to keep his business out of the room there really is no need to get him in trouble, what do you think will happen if he gets kicked out? Hell probably go back home get more into drugs and OD within a couple of months.

What the hell am I supposed to do about it? If you don't like him to that point tell your RA you aren't fucking living with him. If your RA won't do anything go above them and repeat until you find somebody who cares.


Or just grab a few zips of mephedrone, boof some piperazine rolls, snort some talcum powder,huff some duster and let your inner beast out for the party bro.
