I thought it would be cool to have a thread where people could post music related video projects for everyone to critique and share feedback about the unique opportunities/challenges that come with "music videos". Also, it could be a place for hacks like myself to come to steal the ideas of more talented people so that I/We can take credit later. So yeah, let's see 'em.
Here's a little thingy I put together for a pal's band, Pitch&Bark. I was in Santa Fe, NM for the AHA Fesitval which is a cool little annual art co-op festival featuring a bunch of wonky musicians and visual artists.
I thought it would be fun to shoot some footage and edit it around a song of theirs. I borrowed my gal's cam (t2i) which I had never used before (It literally took me ten minutes to figure out how to record video....what the fuck...why would it NOT be the shutter button?! haha), and then used good ole iMovie to slap it together.
By no means anything special (pretty damn amateurish actually...you'll see) but overall I'm pretty happy with the way it came together and think that if nothing else, it fit the song and the event.
