I have enjoyed watching this debate and have reinforced my thinking behind, if Obama gets elected for a second term us kids will be fucked. No I am not some dumbass 14 year old kid repeating my parents either. I honestly feel like Obama was stressing a couple of point waaay to hard and Romney was just shootin' um down.
That means the US has the best research infrastructure in the world, not the best health care system dipshit. How many people in the US can even access those drugs and treatments?
Agreed but I think it was closer than some people think. Obama made some great counterpoints later on after his shaky start but Romney's strong start carried him through the debate
People seem to think speaking ability makes a president. Bush Jr. couldn't complete a sentence and was elected twice. That's all I have to say to that.
As for the debate, hard to say who won. Romney was confident and all, but I like a calm, collected president (cough) JFK (cough).
Obama could have done a lot better. Mitt contradicted himself, pulled facts out of his ass, and made up policy on the spot. Obama should of been less of the passive, calm, cool, and collected president and gone and called mitt out.
Paul Ryan is such a wild card but so is Biden. If Biden comes out firing but doesn't go overboard (which is a very fine line with him) he will win but Paul Ryan just looks so damn likable
im a republican but very center and after that debate there is no way i wouldnt go republican i cant think of a single thing that Romney didn't shut down towards obamas policys the second they were put on the table
To the average american who doesn't question what they hear, or see if what they are hearing is even feasible or not, Romney won the debate without question. He is promising a utopia with his 5 step plan for the economy, but doesn't say at all how he plans of paying for it. He makes broad generalizations, like oh I will fix loop holes, stop spending for PBS, and we will be able to pay for the most amazing things ever... Just says the pros, doesn't state what the opportunity cost is. Oh and then he just focuses of the negatives on Obama's plan because you can actually see what they are...
Romney's plan for the economy is unknown, he has no specific plan, ergo his entire agenda is worthless. This video highlights this fact:
I don't have the time to explain to you how it works, it just works, you can't explain that! I don't consider myself republican or democrat. But no way in hell will I vote for someone who can't tell me how he plans on getting shit done.
