The real problem is that Obama has basically governed the way you would expect a republican to for the last four years, and the economy has been in the shitter because of it, and now Romney is hitting him hard over it. This is what happens when you try to make the republicans happy Mr President. First of all, it doesn't work, because they will never be happy so long as you are in office no matter what you do, and then when the policies that they proposed and supported at other times fail, they're gonna put it on you because you were the dumbass that listened to them.

Fuck American politics in the ass.

Mitt doing a great job directly answering questions. Obama sounds like he is circling around the questions, hitting the main points he was told to talk about during his briefing the past week.

Hahah you guys think Romney is killing Obama? Romney has this great sounding 5 step plan, fuck that baby sounds beautiful: you got growth, tax cuts on everyone, investments in independent energy, no more debt, damn that sounds good. But you guys must be fucking delusional if you honestly think we can get all that done, aka pay for all of that, without either increasing taxes on someone or increasing our debt. Hence 5 trillion dollar debt increase Obama keeps alluding too, which ironically Romney denies but doesn't explain how he plans on paying for everything.

To be these discussions sound like people talking about American idol contestants.


She didn't really nail that last note but her performance was very heartfelt and the judges loved it. He really picked a great song and even though the judges hated it, he had one of the most unique voices in the contest.

Think how many brillant people are in the world, you think if there was a magical plan that Romeny is alluding to that it wouldn't be in place already? Romneys plan has no opportunity cost at all, everything is positive and nothing is negative. It doesn't work like that, just think about. He claims oh I will get ride of fucking loop holes, and cut spending to shit that is actually useful like PBS, and then I will pay for the trillions of dollars my plan pays for?

Oh great, this $716 billion medicare lie. First of all it's not true. The changes don't affect benefits to seniors at all, it just saves the program $716 billion dollars because of some of the cost containment measures in the Affordable care act. Second of all, Romney's own budget proposals assume the same $716 billion dollars in savings, so for him to attack Obama over it is absurd. And finally, Ryan's medicare overhaul proposal would cost seniors $34 trillion dollars (over 75 years) if they bought private sector plans comparable to medicare while it would only save the government 4$ trillion dollars (over the same time period).

This debate is almost not worth watching.

I don't think he's a fucking god by any means. I don't really agree on a lot of his social policies but to me, economic policies are much more important which is why I support Romney 10 times out of 10 in this election.

You've got this whole thing backwards.

You're seriously suggesting that 'right wing' governments are to blame for high oil prices?

It's almost always the Left who push up the price; this is usually done by constricting supply through increased compliance costs and regulation that they bring in. With less regulation, oil companies motivated by profit can get to drilling/refining/producing much quicker then allowing prices to either decrease or increase at a lesser rate than otherwise.

Romney is being a straight up douchebag right now, he's going so far out of his way to put statements out there that def won't make it through the fact check, while Obama is being a little shaky on SOME responses, he's answering the questions with more accuracy than Romney who doesn't answer the question, but rather brings the discussion back to something he knows how to discuss

More regulation would mean prices at the pump wouldn't shoot up 20 cents a litre when there's political tension in a country that doesn't even supply ANY of the gas we put in our cars. This sort of thing happens all the bloody time, then they lower the prices back down when the 'crisis is averted', but only lower it down 80% of what they raised it by. This seems to be the rule since Hurricane Katrina. Explosion near oil pumps in Iraq? Better raise the price at the pump in Canada 5 cents, even though it's in no way related at all.

Thank you lack of regulation.


And Trudeau here started Petro Canada to compete with oil companies without imposing regulations. So they could indirectly control pump prices by keeping them low at Petro Canada stations. That worked. Till good ol right wing Mulroney sold it off into private hands. Thanks!
