A-Basin Opening Day...

Just saw Bobby Brown tweet this... "A Basin Opening day is Oct 13th! So close......"

any word on if this is true? I know October 13th was last years opening day, not sure where Bobby heard this though, according to their blog they are still waiting to make snow.

its not gonna. whoever said this is a dumbass and saw something from last year when it opened on the 13th. but these next few days are about to be really cold and prime for snowmaking so bring it on!!!

Loveland turned on for maybe 6-8 hours last night. May still be going actually. It is a start.

I didn't check any others. I am guessing Copper is still going.

There are a few more cold nights to come. Get a quick jump on snowmaking. Won't be anything crazy, going to warm back up, but a good start. Got to start somewhere.

I love how like opening day in summit county the parks are already the best in the country. Breck almost always opens with some super fun 3 jump line, and keystone has a perfect rail garden. Like literally opening day at those resorts is 50x better than my hills park in the prime of winter, soo jelly.

A basin is gunna start snowmaking tonight, loveland started last night.

If we could just get one small 3" spread it would help out tremendous...

we dont make snow. Au naturale baby. thats what happens when the base is it like 3700 feet.
