It looks like it happened a while after the taxi scene. Maybe it did hit the car or at least came close, the editor just left it out so he and his little punk can look more "innocent". Either way it doesn't really matter, throwing a skateboard at a car simply cannot be justified.
It angers me even more when the moron said "I hate guys like that"..

Soooooo not true man. None of the skateboarders I know (myself included) would ever be this big of a douchebag. I think maybe it seems like that to you because most of the videos online with encounters like this are posted to show how big of assholes the skateboarders were

i think you guys are underestimating the effectiveness of a skateboard as an incredibly tactile blunt weapon. using the truck as a handle, you can accurately jab the face, then swing at the head for the finish.
