yea, after a successful socialist revolution, the socialist vanguard must smash the bourgeois state apparatus and temporarily reconstruct a state of its own to suppress imperialist/pro-capitalist counter revolution. How the hell do you expect a socialist state to survive in a world hostile to socialism without monopolizing the use of force (dictatorship of the proletariat)?
