I have had a GoPro for a while now, but I never seem to get a shot to look exactly like I want it. What are some good mounts for filming yourself skiing (mostly down pow runs) that are creative and new? And what do you guys think the best way to film a friend in the park is?

1) get close. a major issue i see all the time from go pros is people stand too far away from the subject, that 170 degree lens on it fits a lot in the view.
2) get a pole mount. these are good for go pros and you can get good angles and movement
3) shoot more 3rd person. a lot of POV shots are just shitty and dont give a good representation as to what the terrain is like.
4) tripod/static shots always work too.
