Skiing in Colorado, 100 days a year. I am 6'2 or 6'3" and 190 LBS athletic. Intermediate skier but first full 100 day season this year so looking to progress A lot.

I have surface new life 194 for deep powder, k2 obsethed for big mountain and slack, and line blends for "thin" skis lol.

I need the Patron to be my everyday ski, on groomers and when theres less than 3 inches of fresh snow. 185 turn easier?, 193 hold edge harder? anythin else

thats quite the quiver you have already. yeah for your specs go with the 193 especially since the rocker is pretty aggressive. ill be making the same purchase soon

No doubt 193.. And with the patron you can probably retire the obsethed ;)

Ya thats why i bought it, so i didnt have to use the k2 obsethed everyday. The patron will be my everyday ski. The k2 in my opinion is a much different ski. There is no overlap. I heard the patron is like a thinner On3p Billy Goat...according to reviews

The patron cant handle 12" deep powder like the obsethed can.Nor moguls. Nor can it smash through crud and chop.

But the Patron is much better on groomers.

No. the Patron and Obsethed are for the exact same thing. Big mnt skiing. The seth may do a tiny bit better in pow cause it's a little fatter. The patron would be a better Crud and chop cause it's stiffer then the seth.
In 12 inchs of fresh they would both kill it
