Hello NS.

Looking for a favor.

Time is ticking, and I need a new pair of Armada T-Halls. My old ones are pretty used now.

I'm looking for the 11/12 model because I need to save money, and I need size 171.

NOWHERE online has them. I've made a WTB thread to no avail ... I just don't feel like dropping 500 on this year's skis.

Here's where you come in. I need you to call or e-mail your local shop asking if they may have a pair around. 11/12, 171, T-Halls. I'll need them shipped to NY.

All I'm gonna need is the shop info that has 'em, and as long as the price isn't riduculous, if in fact I call up and can get 'em shipped to me, you get 5 bucks. That's five McDoubles, free. Winning.

IT IS SIMPLE AND WOULD REALLY HELP ME!

I've gotten close with my shops around here (found a size 176), but no cigar.

Call The-house and tell them you found them cheaper on another website. they dont advertise it but they will match other websites prices on gear 9 out 10 times. Especially last seasons gear. They do reserve right to turn you down but it's worth a shot.

They will ask for a email link to verify. If they try to say the website is out of stock just tell them you called them and they had and extra pair in the shop they said they would sell to you. But then tell them how you were told to go to the House cause friends from Minnesota recommended it cause it's awesome (they are based in MN so they are really responsive to anyone who got recommended by a Local).

Tell me if it works out. Other wise Im out of Ideas.

If that doesn't work just get the 176. It's only 5cm difference (an inch added to the tip/tail), unless you are under 5'7 and like 120 pounds you'll be fine with 176.

How is that plan sketchy?
 It may be thrifty but If you get 171 thalls for $400 whats the problem? It's just asking a company to price match. In this day and age, almost all companies will price match if some other company is or has sold the same product at a lower price. There's nothing sketchy about trying get a better deal.

Worse case: They say no. We wont match the price of competitor. Go buy from someone else. We don't want your money.

I think it's worth a shot.

Thats right. Im terrible person cause I ask for a lower price on last years skis. 

Meanwhile in Washington DC politicians use classified reports to make investments in personal private portfolios to gain billions. 
But your right my "shady" methods to save a 100 bucks on over priced skis are much more horrible. They should stone me for crimes against businesses.

I would never give my business to them. They don't give a shit about skiing at all. All the people that work there are douches with absolutely no skiing knowledge at all. I would honestly rather pay more money and support a local or online shop that actually cares about the sport.

Im from Europe though. It says shipping worldwide on the ebay link though. I dont know excatly about the price but i think it will cost you around 400 $ shipping included.

ah thanks anyway, but i just did the U.S. conversion and even before shipping i'd pay around 450 USD. thanks though.
