Custom Pole grips?

I am in the market for new poles and i like the way the line spoles feel. I am really not to stoked on the price, just beacuse i am growing and i will probibly outgrow them soon. Does anyone know how to make pole grips that are comfy like them that you can just put on shitty poles with the fat grips removed?

Yaeh... Im kinda thinking duck tape for the 1st layer then hockey tape for the 2d

last season i went to the local SOS and picked up a pair of poles for $5, when i got home i filled up a bucket full of boiling water, i then put the poles into the water (grips first), and after about 10 minutes i took them out and pulled off the old grips, i then duct taped up the area on the pole where the grips go until the pole was thick enough for a pair of BMX grips to fit on

I work at a mini golf place and I was able to get a couple grips from clubs and put those on.  They're nice and comfortable and grippy too.

what i did was wrap duct tape around it a couple times, so that it was a little thicker, then used tennis grip over that. works great

or also bike grips would work too

I'm gonna be making some grips I think soon. I'll probably get some foam/wilson tennis grips for super squishy funtime.
