tanners the man, you know what's an embarrassment to the sport? dudes getting sponsored by target. I'd rather a real character like tanner as our rep any day over some generic family friendly mannequin which some of would seem to prefer.

Also, if i were Tanner and i was reading this thread,sitting in my big ass house, with all my friends, skiing everyday and getting paid for it, i would be giving all the haters a big fuck you. Jealousy is a horrible thing.

But I think above all else, PERSONALLY IMO, this video just shows how you can rule a sport by the balls and still be the most self conscious. Changing identity every couple years, and having the camera in your face really puts people to the test and you see them change, trying to find themselves. Tanner has had some form of skiing publicity since he was about 16, prime puberty years, which can have a lot to do with shaping your own morals and ideas. I dont know shit about Tanner personally except his history as a skier, but it is sort of evident that he wants people to continually know who he is and what he does. True gangsta's know actions spak louder than words, and im not saying promoting yourself is a bad thing what so ever, but when you go to the extent of changing identities every so often to promote one self, one has to think of an underlying fundamental core value of one's self that might be missing. WHY DO YOU THINK TANNER ALWAYS TYPES IN CAPS.

The man has a huge heart and what people see as fake Bombaclot rasta non-sense, he sees as a way of self-identification.

All i know is:
A) The man can shred, and he's proven it, no matter what you may think.
B) FUCK PSYCHOLOGY HOMEWORK, I am way too bored right now, and its channeling into the wrong places.

Video is chill and funny,stoked to see Tanner so happy about they friends.All respect to Tanner,becouse he was the reason that i ski today,but,but only thing what i hate was the watching live stream on internet and it was i think in semi,when Gus landed his double and were waiting for results Tanner shows middle fingers to him and the camera man.Maybe it wasn't for Gus,but atleast it looks like.

Honestly, why is he an embarrasment to the sport? Because hes super stoked when his friends stomp big tricks? I personally love riding with people with so much stoke, makes the day better, and makes me wanna shred harder. Tanner didn't get pro because he was a role model for kids, he became pro because hes a damn good skier, and only because of that. There's a reason your teachers or role models might not be pro at skiing, its because they cant fackin ski! And Tanner can shred like a boss, and progressed the sport tons, that's why hes a pro, not because of how newschoolers wants him to act in public.
