Yo guys! So I just got a replacement iPhone in the mail from Verizon. I had all my stuff backed up to my iTunes on my old iPhone, and somehow, in the midst of setting up the new one, it wouldn't let me sync my backed up stuff because the new one didn;t have current enough software.
So now, I just have this blank slate on my iTunes for my new iPhone. Is there anyway I could make the iTunes recognize my old backed up info/account and sync the new iPhone now that I downloaded the new software? Thanks!

Upgrade the phone to 6 I think.

Yeah I downloaded the 6 software because iTunes needed it in order to sync my old shit to my new one. But now that I downloaded 6, I can't seem to get back to that "would you like to sync this phone with the backed up stuff" point.

my friend had the same or a similar problem but i dont remember the specifics. but i do know that: iOS 5 requires OS X 10.5 8 or higher and iTunes 10.6.
iOS 6 requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher and iTunes 10.7.
also i think it started to work after he turned off wifi sync (as opposed to cable sync). otherwise i'd just start googling/looking in apple forums, the answer's gotta be there somewhere

take it to the motherfucking genius bar at any apple store. i have no clue why you would ask a bunch of hormonally imbalanced teenagers on the internet about something like this.

To get hormonally charged responses such as this, clearly.
