Well, as the title discribes snowboarding is all I can think about. In the last couple of weeks I've literally stopped watching ski movies and gone all in on the snowboarding scene. I skate and surf abit so I'm kinda baffled to why I chose skiing over snowboarding in the first place, it might have been because of my skier friends. It just seems as it would fit me so much better. It would improve my balance on a skateboard and surfboard alike. It would make my chinbang go away. Snowboarding would make me be able to hike rails everyday with the ability to walk and run with comfy boots on my feet. I also see this as a huge advantage when going into the resort resturant. Grabs would feel smoother, I would be able to feel the surface of the snow better. Powder! OMG, powder on a snowboard man, that's what I'm all about. Surfing down a mountainside and then hitting a perfectly built kicker further down. I feel that skiing is more on doing drops and not so much about crazy air when it comes to powder. You might not get what I'm saying, but just look at Art of Flight and That's it That's all, has that really been done in skiing? Somehow I feel that snowboarding is abit more evolved when it comes to powder. I've been skiing now for about 2 seasons, I'm pretty decent at it, I would say. Had real progression the second season and evolved to the point where I could throw cork 7's and 9's on big kickers and feel safe afterwards. I orginally started out as a snowboarder and learned how to throw 3's 5's and backflips, pretty much the basic stuff. Now I just feel this urge to get back on my board. I've tried to give skiing the best chance, but I really don't feel the same smoothness as snowboarding is giving me. I guess this is also and natural feeling aswell, also those hours I've spent out in the surf and on my skateboard, going sideways is in my blood. My body screams get on that board, but my hearth still has a place for skiing. I'm so confused right now, should I dust off my snowboard or just stick with skiing?
