Dying in Dreams?

I recently just had a dream where I was shot in the neck, bled out for a few minutes (as in real life), and then promptly woke up from a deep sleep. It was very odd, and pretty cool. So I thought I'd ask NS, have you guys ever dyed in your dreams, or is it completely impossible? Feel free to share etc..

When I was about 14 I had a dream that my brother was picking me up from a football game. He decided to be a dick and drive away as I went to get in the car. I ran across an open field to chase the car and this big ass UCONN came over the curb and nailed me. Ran me over and then I left my body laying on the field and floated above it. Car ran me over and I was have an out of body dream experience. Pretty sure I died in my dream.

i have the same dream all the time. walking across a bridge and somehow I fall off then wake up immediately, never die

This sort of.

Normally right before I pass in my dreams, I wake up in a jolt, realize I'm alive. Ponder for a minute or two about it, like "holy shit, holy shit", deep breathing, then go back to sleep.

Happens to ne regularly, like once a week. I lucid dream pretty often and sometimes I just kill myself (once I jumped from my balcony on the 5th floor and another time I was being attacked by some werewolf-like monsters so I just took a knife and sliced my throat). Pretty cool.

How do you know you're not dreaming right now. And you really are a secret agent brainwashed to believe that you live a normal life but your "dreams" are actually reality and you're "reality" is your dreams.

If I'm about to die I'll realize it's a dream and wake up, or realize it's a dream and move into a different dream. Or if I know it's a dream I'll jump off cliffs and shit just not giving a fuck

Would you rather decide to die in a decent way or see your intestines being eaten by warewolves ? Usually I try to kill myself because it's less scary than the deaths I normally experience

Never really died in a dream since it is impossible (no conscious understanding of actual death equals no dream death)

But I have had the expirence of waking up right when I "die" in a dream, also been shot by Emma Watson, that was weird.

I had this dream where I everyone was on their own, like a post apocalypse type situation. I had a hand gun that my grandpa gave me and a fuck load of amo in my back pack. I wasn't trying to get involved with anyone if I didn't need to. I would usually sneak by raiders or just hide it out until they left. How ever one of them saw me and headed over to my position so I shot the guy in the chest and stomach and booked. Two other guys chased after me and opened fire. I shot back and unloaded my clip but I was no match for their assault rifles. I ended up taking 5 shots to the chest and stomach and fell to the ground. At that point I was ready to die. My thinking was thats it I'm dead. I wasn't even to worried about it I had a weird acceptance of the fact I was dying. Not that I wanted to die, but I was just ready to leave since I had just been shot 4 or 5 fucking time in the chest and abdomen. I then ended up coughing blood and I spit out a piece of a copper lead bullet that had somehow worked its way into my esophagus. Then everything went black and I got tired. After that I nothing happened I was at piece. I didn't even wake until the morning.

That dream was real as fuck to me and way fucking crazy. I have these dreams that get way to realistic and I end up thinking they are 100% real. Once I though that I had bomb sushi in the fridge so I went and looked and it ended up that I was dreaming about it the night before.

yeah man, lucid dreams are the best, usually happens to me when i wake up in the morning then go back to sleep for a few hours. being able to control your dreams is the coolest thing ever!

I've had seriously had scetch/scary dreams where everything's going wrong or something and I just die or kill myself in my dream to start over, like knowingly, shits really weird how in control of my dreams I can be.. I can wake up and fall back asleep and go right back into the same dream.. What also wierds me out about my dreams is they all have similar locations that come up every so offer. Like dream dajavu
