yo so im still deciding whether to get a 178 or 185 rossi scimitar. i plan on center mounting to have a fun playful jib ski i could use wherever im 5'10 200 pnds what should i do? im pairing them with 4frnt deadbolt 15 bindings
From what I've been told and read online (seriously considering this ski for next season), bet the 185, they ski short. I'm about 5'10 130-140lbs and I'd either get last years 178 or this years 181, they are so god damn light and the full rocker keeps them lively and playful.
Oh forgot to ask are these a park or all mountain ski? And what size resort are you skiing at? I'd be getting mine for more of a daily driver all-mountain park ski for whistler, so having bigger sticks isn't a bad idea for that variable snow.
Anyone ride these (specifically the 2012 185s) more as an all mountain ski and if so, where did you mount them? Any problems with the position and if you had to remount where would you move them to?
I have a pair coming in this week that i'm putting a set of sth 14s on.
The two in depth reviews were at rec mount and -3 from factory rec:
