public high school in canada is a joke bro..... its pretty easy to do. before i went to private hs in the USA i went to public hs in BC and i showed up stoned out of my tree erday and made 90's easily.
That says it all, everyone knows private school pad kids grades for college. How pissed would your parents be who pay 30+k a year for highschool if you didn't get into college ( at least here in the states) aps help though use to love getting 80+ average since colleges saw it as a 100 ( about +20 points usually$
I went to hs in the us and it was easier than here. A is 90+ in the us and here its 80+, so I have to work equally hard for that 80. Also fuck my school they don't offer ap or ib classes
yeah bitch FUCK YOU you paid for that 97.5. and to the guy who commented above. if an A in the USA is 90 percent and an A in canada is 80 percent, wouldnt it be harder to get an A in america??? i went to a oublic HS in BC and and american private and honestly a canadian education is a joke, its easy as fuck to get an A in canda , in canada you still pass a class if you have 51%, if you have less than 65% in america you fail a class. that said, an american education is much more difficult than a canadian one ( i would know I WENT TO A PUBLIC CANADIAN AND A PRIVATE AMERICAN).
MCGILL IS A FUCKING SHIT HOLE OF A UNIVERSITY!!!!!
yeah cuz i ran out of cheddar and i cant afford my private american uni anymore and i dont want to be loaned out for life in debt. i still think its a shit school, it would never EVER BE MY FIRST CHOICE. ONCE AND OWL ALWAYS AN OWL BABY!!!!!!
cool story bro but your perspective is limited. go to another school out of province or even a private school or an american private school then talk to me kid. you don't know jack shit

ill show you my stack of college acceptance letters, you show me yours? like i said, canadian education is a joke. I wiped my ass with the scholarship and acceptance letter that McGill sent me.
Lol. Yes you should watch out for the STD, but UCSB is an awesome location with cool people and the.UC system has a pretty good reputation for when you graduate.Lotta surfer bros too
UBC needs to hurry the fuck up (Commerce, Art), Really starting to get nervous even though i've gotten into better universities, UBC is definitely my sight.
awwwh haha shitty! thats been a problem with a bunch of my friends who got early acceptance.....
out of curiosity, when did you send your application? I sent my app 5 days before the deadline so im pretty sure I cant even be considered for early acceptance haha
As a fellow Ontarian I really think you should try to convince your parents to let you go. I mean can you really function as a person not being able to ski at a school like Queens for 4 years? I definitely could not lol. Like ive heard unbelievable things about UBC Freeride and Ski club... idk I just think it would be a huge waste of an opportunity to not to go experience something completely new like going to school in a new province.
If you can afford USC, you should definitely go there. Sure it's a snooty school, but damn the location, the females, the reputation, and lots of other bonuses, that is the place to be.
your calling me rich>?????? wtf you got into USC if your Canadian and not an American you cant get any financial aid at USC and therefore you ad to send a certificate of finances showing you could afford the school so your parents must be able ot afford 50k and year because at most they give like 15k scholarships....

I cried for 3 nights straight and I even have my own money set aside for my education that would enable me to go there. However my parents refuse to draw out the money for me to go (my grandparents gave it to me and have made it so I can't withdraw from it personally until I am 21) I work part-time, offered to pay for all of my plane tickets etc. and would just get a transfer to Vancouver and work during school. I tried so hard to get them to compromise but they have it in their head that it would be a waste for me to spend all of my money on going to Vancouver and they think that the education I'll get at McGill is just as good as UBC. I don't know how to try and convince them and everyone else in my family is dead-set on me going far away from home so I have no support. They're all desperately trying to cling to me and keep me close and it makes me want to move away even more. I definitely am not eligible for financial aid and have no way to pay off the debt I will have incurred if I take out loans. :( thinking about it makes me want to cry all over again because I don't want to go to McGill or Queens or Carleton.
