So I'm trying to make the switch to Avid because I'm required to use it at school, but I can't figure out an efficient workflow for the 720p60 files from my GH2. If I shoot all 1080p24 its no problem, Avid will import everything to DNxHD for editing. But if there are any 60p files on the card, it will stop importing because the project is a 24fps project. Even if I import the 60p files in a separate project with the right settings then open the bin in a 24fps project, avid just drops the frames. I can't figure out how to get Avid to conform the footage without dropping the audio.
Anybody here that knows Avid have a solution for this? I'm considering just going back to FCS3 because the workflow for Avid is so damn over complicated. I miss being able to just log/transfer and conform with cinematools.
