I don't know about a kite scene, but there appears to be a really big scene focused on how many worthless ns threads you can make about it. There are two others on the first page, five if you count ones focused more on baker/bellingham.

The drive up to Baker is too long (1.5 to 2 hrs) and it rains all the fucking time.
