Fucking. Useless.
That is all they are.
Cut a long story short..broke the tips off my 1080's skis. 5 months later and the spare parts shipment for Salomon new zealand has arrived, from france. Guess what isn't in the shipment? Yup, 1080 tips.
I now have to wait another 2 months for the next shipment to arrive.
Bear in mind the fucking new zealand ski season has fucking STARTED...and I can't fucking use my own skis!
As you can tell, I am mightily pissed off.
Salomon France are a bunch of fucking useless monkeys.
Actually...that's an insult to monkeys, cause they have more fucking business sence than Salomon.
Fuck it.

Im more pissed off with the incompetancy of Salomon France. They can't even get anything as simple as a parts shipment right.
I don't care if they are good skis, but I sure as hell won't be buying anything from Salomon again. They don't deserve my money.

Soloman seems so impersonal, never heard anything good about their customer service or athlete support program. I will never buy Soloman skis for that reason.

I'll try and sort out that last weekend of the holidays to ride with ya at Turoa, just have to see how it goes aye but yeah man, that really blows. I will also never buy a salomon product again, just coz they screwed you. boycott Salomon!! orrooooo!!! I'm gonna go with K2, Look and Line for a while I think, see how that goes. But dude, honestly, send some angry e-mails and make some angry phone calls. That's mad terrible service bro. Tell them that they should give you something to use in the meantime seeing as you can't use yours.

i've never had a problem with salomon products...nothing major has ever happened, but my dad bought a pair of salomon shoes and the sole ripped off in like 3 weeks, so they sent him new shoes, nicer ones too becuase they didnt have the ones he had in stock

Pocket Rocket, quit defending Salomon. Salomon skis and bindings suck. Their customer service blows. They don't care about their customers, they just want to make as much money as possible. I'd rather duct tape my boots to my skis then use salomon bindings. Take a 1080 ski and shove it up your ass.

Salomon does seem really impersonal and corporation like but I havent had a prob with their bindings or skis (except the brake fucking up), actually I love their shit. Still Ive heard a lot of bad shit about them so I dont know what to think.

Yea I like the skis...they were good when I actually got to use them.
But like, the NZ distributers (which have very little to do with salomon except import the stuff) told me that when they place an order they have a 'wishlist' basically of parts they want Salomon France to supply. Its random what actualy gets sent though, and if they don't send something that the distributers ask for, they don't even have the decency to tell them the parts wont be in the shipment.
Salomon NZ (should I say Snow Sports..cause they are only the importers) are just as pissed cause it makes them look bad.
And I have wanted to send Salomon an email, but guess what? There isn't a single email address on any of Salomons websites...
Their products are ok, but there business sucks. For that, I won't be looking at Salomon for future ski stuff.

i personally really dont like salomon that much... the only good things i got from salomon are my skates... theyre pretty good but they do have some things about them i hate... but other than my skates i HATE salomon! (yeah i know kinda dumb but i dont care)

LINE, Rossignol, Volkl. Every other company is better then Salomon. My friend snapped his 1080s the first week he had them. He got them brand new, Salomon said they wouldnt warranty them. So he basically got screwed $500.

u think thats bad! i lost my Volant tips 2 weeks after I got them and it took them 4 mounths to answer me then a other mounth to send them and tehy sent some racing tip so I needed to weight a other 2 mounths and now fianly they are in(7 mounths later) so pretty much my whole sking carear i Have had no tips...

hey T-lo...salomon makes some of the best skis, and the lightest bindings on the market...sorry to hear that they screwed you on customer service, but i figured i'd stand up for them...everyone else on this site hates salomon, but i think they're pretty kick ass, if you dont like them...dont buy them, simple as that

No offence to any one but T-lo you're a retard. They will easly refund them as long as you fill out the warrenty which covers anything that happens in the first year. Second if your tip breaks off writre them online and give them your address they should send it to you in about 3 days. Third to keep the tips on use epoxy but mix just a slightly bit more of the resign with the hardener that way it will be more flexible and it shouldn't happen again.
If you use your 'IMAGINATION' anything is possible squidward.

Yea i really liked the 1080s i had and i broke them 3 times sent them back everytime and got new ones within a month. And ive had the same salomon bindings for 3 years and they are still kick ass bindings. I havent had a problem with them but it seems alot of other people have so maybe ill stay away from them, just get the scratches.

I've heard Rossi can be bitches when it comes to warrenties too. The only company I've nevr EVER heard anything bad about in regards to replacing busted skis is K2.
I broke a pair of mine once, didnt have the reciept, took them to the shop, the shop called K2. K2 said to give me new ones and they'd send the shop a new pair ASAP!
For this reason. I will probably buy K2s again after these ones.

When i fuck up my skis my ski shop directly gives me another pair and then gets the refund or whatever from the company. Its easier and I dont need to wait forever for skis. My ski shop usually can and will repair anything and if not then they grab another pair of the rack and set them up for me and send mine to the company. Only skis ice ever had a problem with were my Head Cybers and the tip of my right ski popped off one day and woundt go back on. And that was like 3 years ago... i guess i dont ski hard enough anymore??!?!?!
I love my ski shop.... TONS of hot guys work there!!

Hey stop calling my man T-lo a retard because he had a bad experience with salomon, he's probably not making it up and you probably wern't there. I have 1080s and I broke them and the shop replaced them on site probably because my mom was with me. I also took in their add which said they were all indestructible and the store had a satisfaction policy that I pimped. My new ones are also breaking and I'm kind of mad because I did that damage with a broken arm and a torn groin muscle, I won't by their shit again. I think I'm going to ride them till they break and then buy a pair of Vokyls (sp).

salomon can suck nuts. And the reason is this: i bought some skis, when i was little (well, my mom bought them) x-free 7's. Yah, the people told us they were good skis. Turns out they're the crappiest skis salomon makes. But they're just as spendy as any of the other ones. We paid 500 dollars for pieces of shit. Salomon just puts hte X on stuff like that to make it LOOK nice, when it actually sucks. They're just out to make money, and that is so gay. But hey, funny thing is, my two favorite skiers ride for them (JP and Vinnie)...yeah

yeh but NMK ive heard that rossignol isnt that bad on warranties. one of my friends sent in his pow air grinds sayin that the grind plates were comin off and they are sendin him a pair of scratch bc's to replace them. i am in the process of doing the same, atleast i hope that it happens. and i dont really like salomon stuff eitha, it just doesnt seem as good as other products, but everybody has there own opinion
