Just picked up a pair of these that were used for 2 weeks w/ bindings for 80 bucks (they are pretty much brand new) from my friend who's sponsored by Nordica, so I haven't got a a chance to use them obviously. I noticed they are fairly flexible and have a sturdy construction but I am curious to hear reviews from some of NS who's had them/skied them. Thanks!

Thet seemed like a stable and durable park ski when i skied em at a demo. I like more shape in my skis, so i skied the firearrow more, anyway... If its flexie id say its not the ti version (two sheets of titanium) which is the one i skied. for 80 buck you got a banger deal. Nordi's best park ski.

I felt like I could ollie over any thing on those. SUPER poppy, very balanced feel. Not the best carvers, but a great park ski because of their medium, symmetrical flex pattern and weight. You'll enjoy them, and for 80 bucks you just can't beat it

Im picking up my pair sometime this week. Im super stoked, all Ive heard is good things about these skis. I was unaware that they made a TI model and a different model, because the titanium sheets supposedly are for strrength and dong do anything to flex?

the TI version is really stiff. Like volkl wall stiff. It will be more hard to butter and press but On big jump features and hauling ass it will be super stable. Also will carve ice like no other as long as you dont fully de-tune. If you got the TI version just keep it and shred harder.

So what kind of flex do the regular AoS have? I honestly have no clue if Im getting the TI or regular. But Im taking a shot in the dark that the non TI will have a flex similar to chronics?

I have only been on the TI. But guessing that AoS is still the high end park ski of nordica, its gonna be comparable to other high end park skis like AR7 and Scratch. Probably less stiff then those two since the TI is the pro model.

Oh, another thing worth noting that i was reminded of by another post, the bases. Those fucking skis are sooooo fast. When its sticky out and all of your friends are decking, you will be clearing jumps like its nothing. Such an underrated feature on these skis, you'll be glad to have it

truth... nordi does some real fancy sintered bases. I think the ti was marketed as "aos pro" if im not mistaken. so if it doesnt say that then its not the ti. I think id like the aos wo the ti... If i remember correctly, the rep showed me that you could see the sheets of metal in the tip/tail sidewall.

there was only one version of the AOS that year guys. wood core with 2 sheets of TI. only time there has been 2 versions is this season. the AOS comp is the new version, 184 length with wood core, 2 sheets of TI, and carbon.

as far as a ski, its a bomber park ski that will rip outside of the park as well.

maybe it was preproduction...i was at an on-snow for retailers. They most def had two versions. Anyway... Im sure u got the nordi thing down.

i just bought a pair. they seem like the perfect park ski. stiff, durable, long sizes, fast and cheap. i think that soft rockered/early rise park skis are overrated, especially if you don't weigh 100 pounds and want to hit big stuff.

i think they all have the metal in them. only the newest models might not. there's a comp model and a normal model without metal. all the old ones have the metal i think, and people still said they were flexy and eventually the metal perma rockered itself for some people. i still want to try these though.
