06/07 Line Chronic Blends (165)
07/08 K2 Fujatives (169)
2009 and 2010 Line Lizzies (Both 172)
I am 5'2" and 115 pounds. My old Chronic Blends were too stiff. They beat the crap out of me when the snow got rough. But I loved how they carved and how they rode at speed. My fujatives were the only park ski that I've ever ridden and actually liked. I had a pair of 2010 Punx (164) that I absolutely hated. I like to carve. And those skis were too stiff, too narrow, and had no edge hold despite lots and lots of tuning.
So I think what I'm after is a ski in the 165-172 range that's around 90-100 mm underfoot. Medium flex, maybe with a little rocker in the tip and tail, that can carve and carve hard. I'd like to be able to charge steeps, carve groomers, but still head into the park and not hesitate to throw big spins, flips, and play on rails. These skis will be mounted true center. I ski switch more than I ski forwards.
I've always had good luck with Line. Never ridden a ski from them that I didn't love. K2 is really hit or miss. That's about all I can think to include with this. So yeah. Thanks in advance!
