If i took defensive driving last year for "Failure to stop" ... i just recently got a speeding ticket. I know you cant take defensive driving more than once in 3 years... My question is, can you take it more than once if my second ticket was for another violation?

Depends what state or province you're in.

It's funny because you didn't learn your lesson the first time.

The ticket is going on your record.

the ticket goes on your record for insurance no matter how many times you take the class. all the class does is keep the 12 points down so you don't get it taken away and take like 10% off insurance. that being said you can take the class 3 days back to back for 9 points, but depending on your state if you get 3 in a few months say good by to driving for a while.
