IOS 6 maps line scoping

So iOS 6 came out today and apple created their own native mapping app. Generally it's way behind google maps/earth, BUT! The digital imagery for some mountain ranges when you go into 3d mode is way way better than google's or bing's. you can actually see and scope lines in very high resolution. Definitely worth checking out if you're on iOS for pad or phone. And I really don't care if you think android is better than iOS

I love how this thread turned into an Android vs. IOS shit storm.

Quit boosting so hard, your decision in what cell phone operating system you use doesn't mean anything to anyone. Go be proud about something real for a change.

That is awesome. A good way to get an extra perspective on things. Hopefully google maps does something like this too for my droid.

Maybe I'll update now after all. I was kinda pissed to learn that google maps is gone in iOS6 cuz I use it all the time for work

^ just so you know its the google maps app is not gone, just go to google maps in safari and theres an option to download. I think the new one is pretty cool tho

didn't check the whole thread. But to clarify, 3D mapping is only with 4s iphones and up.
