in the last week or so, I found a couple things on the internet whose scope takes wasting time to another level.
the first is this comic on xkcd: http://xkcd.com/1110/
which has a cool little message on top, but will take up a solid half an hour to fully see. fyi, it goes left and right and down.
and the second is homestuck: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6
that is apparently over 5000 pages and I haven't really made a dent into yet.
i saw some video that called homestuck things the Ulysses of the internet, which basically means that it gets so complex and takes so long to finish that it seems all the more amazing at the end, and you feel so much more accomplished because of it. i actually finished the click and drag comic, but it took more than half an hour of my life, and for some reason my brain enjoyed it. so, classes are just starting, and i'm going to need procrastination material for the next 8 months, so gimme a new Ulysses ns.
