New to me brands

I was at tightboards and came across a couple of brands I am not familiar with, so I am curious if anyone knows anything about them: Artic Edge, Sierra and Teton.  I found a thread that mentioned Teton was a brand that is made for a specific shop, but it didn't say much else.  My first thought is that they are probably junk (especially for the price tightboards has them for) but then again I had never heard of 4frnt, Liberty or Moment at one point either, so...  If you know anything about them, about the quality or about a specific model, please share.

I've only heard of Sierra, that's The House's generic shitty ski brand. Don't support the house to begin with, and don't but Sierra skis. I've never ridden them, but they're marketed towards beginners/people who don't know what they're doing. They are most likely pieces of garbage.

If you buy from a reputable brand, you get the assurance that the company is putting their name, which they have worked hard to get a good reputation, on it. Plus you get the warranty.

I've seen all three only on the house so for the price they're marketed at I guarantee they're shitty

That pretty much confirms what I was guessing, but with all of the small companies around nowadays, who knows.

I can't speak of the quality of Coreupt, but they were definitely known. They had guys like Kevin Rolland on the team. They went bankrupt this year. I hear that they're just Dynastars with a cooler graphic.

Interesting.  Wonder if we could get a more complete thread together that lists some of the lesser known Real Ski companies vs the 'Now available at Dick's' skis
