From Jay Peak's facebook page:
"Jay Peak management meeting with SPT (Snow Park Technologies) about a future park system at Jay Peak.
Yeah."
I've heard SPT stinks, but I'm ok with super soft jumps on the east, if done correctly.

this. I went there a couple times in 2003/2004 and the jumps were the sickest. pretty long lofty take offs. and the rails were fun too, sick s rail and rainbow to whoop rail. only downside was that you had to take a long run around the mountain to get back to the park every time. frustrating if you are trying to hot lap.

park on a pow day = rutted and terrible.. not sure how well that will work out. Besides, all of jay is a park when it has snow. no need for it. Last thing jay needs is a bunch of tall tee line skis kids rocking their best afterbang on a flat bar for 8 hours.

who were the ones in charge of dew tour/xgames? I remember there being a huge shitstorm about how they did a poor job. The name sounded similar, but I bet you're right, either someone else or poor info.

they do x games and dew tour. And sure the courses arent the best things ever sometimes but when compared to most parks id say the SPT ones are pretty on point.

Yea Jay whit snow is pretty epic, but I enjoy doing some park laps on my fatty at the end of the day after some beer. And yes, last thing jay needs is a bunch of park rats. Will see how it turns out, might not that bad.

I hate to spoil the news, but the SPT guys are here mainly to work on the new Burton Riglet Park that will be above the new mountain learning center at stateside. We are putting in a new lift that will provide round trip access to the 720 park, but as far as SPT influence on that park, it is still up in the air.
