What boots should I get?

I hate being the nagging record but here it goes again. Bootfitter.

But the reason all the gear nuts will keeps saying this is the simple fact we are not looking at your feet. Every single persons foot is different and no one can say what boot will work for your feet unless they are looking at your feet.

Thats all I'll go into to the bootfitting reason cause sounds like your going to go to a BF and get checked properly.

What we can do is make some assumptions. You said you hit a lot park but do trips out west a couple times a year. Planning to do some BC stuff sounds like. At your size I say 100 flex boot would be good for you. A 100 flex will give you some flex in the park, but a better stiff feeling for hauling ass in the BC.  

But this is just a assumption. Maybe you get to the store and find out you want stiffer/softer boot. Thats fine what ever feels right for your style of skiing.

What I highly recommend doing now that your feet stopped growing: Get a full custom orthodontic foot insert. If you never had one before good. You parents were smart enough to not buy something you were going to grow out of in season or two. If you parents did means they really love you or are really rich.

Full custom orthodontic is the way to go. It is made to give the exact amount of support on you feet that they need. Generic inserts will give you either too much support or not enough.

Ask around in reginaols where the best BFs are in your area. Go there get sized and see what they say. If it seems fishy, come back here and ask around. We Will try to give the best advice possible.  

I could rattle off the questions in the world about boots to help you narrow down some choices but the simple fact is We are not looking at you feet. We can't tell you whats gonna fit well and what won't. A really Good bootfitter looking at your feet can tell you exactly whats going on and what to buy.

I definitely see what you are saying. I understand it is impossible to make a judgement without seeing everything first hand. The purpose of this thread was to get a general idea of what I should be looking for and you definitely helped in that regard.

The title of this thread should be, who is the best bootfitter in my area.

Drop any preconceived notion of what you should get, because it doesn't fucking matter if something is marketed well or worked for somebody else, it needs to fit you very well.

Doesn't matter what boots you get, as long as they're full tilts

As others have said, go to a bootfitter.
