Help choose a fat/rockered/soft jib ski..

As the title suggests, I'm after a chubby (100+) soft ski with rocker/reverse-camber/whatever that will be used mainly in the park.

Ideally I'd love to get my hands on a pair of 09/10 hellbents, or EP pros.. But they are hard to come by.

So far, I'm undecided between Atomic Blogs and Rossignol Sickles.. Leaning a bit more towards the Sickles right now.. I've also considered 4frnt YLEs..

Open to all suggestions.

Yeah I ride Blogs in the park - jumps only though. They're a little heavy for spins, but I think that's more to do with their size than design. No fat ski will spin with the same effort as a park ski. Also, the tail is pretty soft which helps landings but does not make them snappy. Blogs handle the off-piste stuff pretty well. I'm happy overall but would probably try something else if I has to choose one fat ski for everything. Maybe a Bent Chetler.

praxis make some really sick skis. Not really known at all on ns, but theyre a well respected name in the big mountain comunity. They do also make some more jibby skis. For this year I'm going to be getting their new piste jib which is a 99mm waisted early rise park ski, but thats probably too narrow for you. They also have a new ski called the mvp which is based off of the same ski my skis are based off of, the mtn jib. Both of these skis are really light especially when you add the carbon layup option to them. Super bomber construction, and they can still really hold their own outside of the park. And since theyre semi custom you can choose your flex too.

also i have some OG hellbents(way better looking than the 09/10s imo) that id be willing to part with. They have been mounted twice, but they only have about 25 days on them.

i dont really see how its any differnent than seeing someone hit rails on on3ps. Im sure as hell not gunna be hitting any rails on woo tests when i get those, but the jibs werent any more expensive than a comparable park ski. I do hear you though, i think its going to take a few months before i can get my self to detune the edges on them.

Neither Blogs or Sickles are that soft, nothing like EPs or 9/10 Hellbents, both of which you can get at untracked.com

I used to ride EP Pros and Lizzies and have found Bacons to be a great replacement, so thats the other option. I also know people like the Opus in the park. Both are nicer to butter than either of your options.

Okay, so I've learned a lot.. Namely that I can get the skis I really wanted online, which I somehow didn't manage to find myself.

The SFB's are definitely a consideration as well.. But I may be just too tempted by EPs..

Thanks for the help, still open to other suggestions.. The praxis skis are a bit risque for me haha, I feel like they're fancy and I'd break them quickly..

Is it you who used to kill it in on hellbents in a gsuit back in the day? If so... EPs are a LOT softer than hellbents, i struggle not to over butter them on hardpack and I'm 5'8 135...

Haha guilty.. So you're saying EPs are just too soft.. I love soft skis, but if what you're saying is true then I could be making a mistake haha

Maybe I'll stick with the bents, which I know I'll enjoy (my old ones broke).

The 10/11 EP is a similar flex to the 09/10 hellbent but they have some camber underfoot too. Pre- 10/11 they were the softest ski ever made by some margin. I would say about 80% softer than domains.

You should check out the Rossi Scimitars. Not as wide as some of these other skis people are recommending but still a very good wide, fully rockered park ski
