Im doing this with you. I never look at porn on my current browser which is firefox because I let people use my computer. I use safari to look at porn. So I just deleted that. Temptation Gone!!!!!

Also I need the boost in confidence. Broke up with my ex recently and I need the mojo back. Going to give this a shot! Plus after every wank session I just feel gross, but I always feel good when I fuck my FWB. Sticking to that.

I literally just exited out of Internet Explorer (my porn browser) after a jerk session, went on firefox (my regular browser), saw this thread and did the exact same thing as you. I feel like the first week will be rough and from there itll get easier. It just sucks that im gonna take longer to fall asleep now because rubbin one out was always the best way of putting myslef to bed.

Yeah I hardly ever watch porn, I usually just jerk it in my bed or before I hop in the shower. I find it quite uncomfortable jerking it in my computer chair and I don't really need porn..

I came into this thread (pun not intended) thinking, hell no.

I havent watched the video yet but I am thinking about this statement you just made.

I have been told this before but never really put it to the test, im at about 5-6 days right now, not because I havent wanted to I just am away from home. Maybe I will just try it out and keep off for awhile.

I've concluded the best thing to do when thinking about doing it is just leave. Close the fucking laptop, and go outside. NEVER EVER try to just say oh I'll just look a little bit then I'll be alright. You always lose, always.

its basically about the easy access to dopamine. it teaches your brain that with little effort you can access this good feeling, instead of working hard, being social, outgoing, aproaching women...

I have absolutely no problem with any of these but I find the science behind it very solid and as a personal expirement its great! I hope it helps with my procrastination and I cant wait to see how much more free time I will get. Not just by cutting fapping because that is quite small but by cutting internet time which can lead to it. I plan on working more on personal projects, do more chores arround my appartment (no Im not 12) doing more film related networking and just generally being more proactive. im also hoping the neurological aspects of this actually pan out and who knows maybee I can be even more confident, could help me with me skiing. I remember having a strict no fapping rule before ski competitions or shoots because it kills my energy and come to think of it, makes me less confident so I think this will help!

then why not keep going, you say you have strength of mind so why not keep going to say 3 months?

having a logical reasoning is caused by your brains dopamine paths created by repetative use which convinces you to get access to porn again and again. how about quitting for good.

Im also doing this because I always told myself that I could quite smoking If ever I was a smoker. I want to know that I have that will power. So quitting is not only a one or 3 month thing, its a life time thing where I want to compare it to cigaretts. you wouldnt just have a cigarette two years from now if you quit? No, that would be a relapse!

Yes porn is pretty damm awsome and thats why its addictive, but you can easily live without it and replace it with much more constructive things including putting that energy towards actual women. Im actualy pretty damm psyched about this expirement!

I understand if you want to stop watching porn, but not fapping, is just unhealthy. Its scientifically proven you should "release" at least few times a week to prevent testicular cancer.
