I would defiantly go bigger at your size for a wide ski.
I say call
the place ask if they some in back or something. For a powder ski you
always want to go bigger. Bigger ski means better flotation and more stable ski.
Will
a 175 ski work in deeper snow, yes. Will it work as anywhere close to a
185? no way.
With that being said and poking around on that website I
looked at some of the other powder ski they had and came up with some
winners.
K2 Hellbent 189 or 179. Killer pow-jib ski.If you want ride switch alot in deep snow this is the ski you want. really flexy ski. Really nicely priced for a brand new Pow ski.

Armada ARG 185 11/12 model. if I was getting a ski for endless pow trip in like japan or Alaska, this the ski I would get. Big full reverse ski. This type of ski will destroy on a day with deep snow. It is very fairly priced compared to American price for the same ski new. $450 in US (345 euro).

If you need or want a powder ski and are tight in money, these are the two I would go with on that website.
If you want more jib in your powder ski go hellbents.
If you want a ski for super deep snow go ARG. You will be able to flip and spin on the ARG.
Just not as well as the hellbent.
But the ARG will handle more versatile snow compared to the Hellbent.
Either of the bindings up above in the thread would work great for these skis.
Maybe this will help. If not good luck with the ski season in Germany, hopefully everyone this year gets the deep fresh stuff.
