So my local skate park is in the process of getting remodeled by the company AMERICAN RAMP COMPANY.
They basically built the same park but messed up all the dimensions and added stupid rails that nobody likes. I know we are still fortunate to have a park but this isnt worth going to.
What they did .
Circular Ollie on dragon tail rail, about 7 feet long, and to jagged/steep
Circular C rail
Flat bar
Made a new mini ramp, 1 foot taller than the old one, not sure if it's good yet
Made a pyramid and a spine within 15 feet of each other so you land and roll right into the spine
RIDE ON circular rainbow rail
And they left about 100ft by 200ft empty for no reason, they say they will expand later is total BS. They won't.
Shofar that's what I know, it's not open yet so we still have a chance to get some ideas across
There's absolutely nothing street oriented that is realistic ex. Flat box ledge stairs
This company is capable of making good parks, they just need to listen to the locals.
So what I need from you guys is to post on their Facebook page
"listen to the chanhassen locals!"

NEWSSSSS
We talked to the workers today, they said they are going to try and put some more street/ realistic features in in the future, so thanks everyone who posted, 1st person to pm me their name and posted on the wall gets something
They opened up yesterday!
The dragon tail is pretty fun, kinda sketchy but fun. The c rail is not very skate able unless you go really slow. They did put in a fun ledge/ manny pad. They messed up the mini ramp though, the old one was perfect, now it's skinnier, taller, and the flat space is shorter. Edit of it coming soon! And somebody is getting stuff I just have to get their address
