sorry - that whole response didn't post. If you're an XL dude, height wise, (greater than 6 foot or so) get XL. 90% of skiers are somewhere in between a skinny and athletic build, and we don't need to buy an xl to get the height, and end up with a shirt with a ton of extra room.

Length is very similar to other cut and sew brands with the same philosophy, however, other dimensions are different.

Welp, after spending my first week in a janky little town with no internet, to get an education at a meager little school; with neither the city or school providing me with much to do, I'm glad to be home for the weekend. And even more so then my mom or my dad, I was happiest to see a pickup slip from Canada Post when I got home today.

I really like the t-shirts!

I got a medium on both my Preorder tee and the "Open Area" tee.

I'm 5'10" 130lb, so pretty slim and lanky'ish. They fit like a dream, a bit taller compared to the Grizzlycorn tee, but not too much.

I also got the Rime Knit colab, best beanie ever.

I'm thinking about doing a quiver overhaul.
I currently have:
10/11 191 wrens w/ jesters
185 Line Opus w/ dukes
186 K2 Petittors new unmounted

I'm thinking about swapping all of them for some billygoats, to be mounted with my dukes.
Thoughts on that?

Also, 186 or 191?

Me:
a little south of 6'
about 175lbs
I ski the PNW and CO. Advanced skier. I'm not a super aggressive skier, but I'm working on trying to be. Not really a jibber, I want to learn pow butters and stylie shifties that's it haha. The 191 wrens are a bit much ski for me at times, although I do love the stability, speed and general badassery.

i was under the impression that the bg would be a better compromise between the playfulness of the opus and the chargeyness of the wrens, no?

If you didn't have the wrens, I'd say Caylor based on the other two skis you have. I've never had problems charging on the Caylor, but yes, BG's do have a higher gear and are much more manageable in trees at speed, just lighting quick responsiveness. They don't like jibbing though, that's where the Caylor will win every time.

thought i'd mention that I have approximately 42-3 days on my jmos this year. i ski 80-90% park and have 1 meager edge crack that i just found. won't need a new ski for next year!

I'm stuck in between getting billy goats or caylors for next season for pow sticks. My style is weird which makes it difficult picking. I don't charge super hard but I like to huck off of cliffs and ski tight east coast tree lines. My style may change next season due to moving out west where there is way more space in between trees and its just so much more open. I has salomon czars which I'm not a big fan of and they have a turn radius of 40M and they were not durable enough for me. I ended up tacoing the ski around the heel piece. I'm also pretty big at 5'11 and 180-190lbs.

I would like the option to land switch because I haven't had the option before. The czars would not let me land switch at all. There is no rocker at all and id get thrown on my ass every time but going forwards take priority and generally in pow I'm riding all over the place and not throwing tricks. I'm feeling though forwards is a high priority. Is the tail rocker in the billy goats just enough to land switch on the occasion? I'm thinking i'd only attempt to go switch once a day.

The tail in the bg is very directional despite it being a full twin. The upturn is meant more for allowing the ski to pivot and turn easily in 3d snow, as well as allow you to back out of tight spots and get around better in the trees. The recc mount also puts you back off center, which can make switch in pow sorta hazardous compared to the Caylor. In the past I've always reached for the Caylor or Jeffrey if I feel like jibbing, but perhaps a BG owner with more days can add their experience here...

BG is alright in switch. Not the best, but you should be able to do it.

I've had plenty of days where I wish I had a softer/jibbier ski than the BGs, but I've made it work.

In powder, switch is possible, I've skied some turns backwards down deeper slopes, along with some switch landings. You just need to know how to land.


If you want to be switch more though, go with the Caylor.

So I guess J-MO's are kind of a good ski....... (trollface.jpg)

But for real, they kill small amounts of fresh, crud, groomers, and are so good in the park. Elliptical sidecut is amazing, hold an edge on every turn and the tails never wash out. I'm on 181's dead centre with fks.

so after being separated from one of my 12/13 191 caylors in february on an epic pow day at bridger, i am happy to say that I found that ski today right where it came off. the only thing wrong with it is rusty edges that will come off with a quick tune. really really fucking stoked!

That's sick. Anyway, I really want some filthy's for the fall of 2014, but I just don't know if spending $600 on one pair of PARK skis is really worth it. I wish I could try them first. Stupid fucking east coast
