2 COMPLETELY different skis. I have not ridden the Wrens yet, but from what I hear, they are meant for big mountain skiing at high speeds. Obviously, that doesnt mean that you need to be skiing spines at 70+ miles per hour, but I don't think they are very resort friendly. Jeffreys on the other hand, they rip everything. I have ridden mine a few times on just groomers and they kill it on everything. I can rail groomers with no speed limit without feeling sketchy. They shine in 5-13 inches of snow. People say if your going a decent speed, they can float to around 2 feet of snow.
How big are you? What type of skier?
From what you described, Im pretty sure the Jeffreys are up your alley way. If you ski a lot of pow, you might want to ante up for the Caylor. Very similar to the Jeffrey, but will be able to handle deeper snow. However, you may sacrifice a little bit of performance on the groomers.
