Mounted at recommended. It looks pretty far back. But I reckon that if the guys at ON3P recommend it, then I should probably go with it.
From what I can see, the skis add mounted -10cm from true centre of the ski.

It's my big mountain charging ski, not a jibby powder ski

I desperately want the Jefferey's, although I would outgrow them in a year, so that's too big of an investment to make for one year. I'll have to settle for another pow ski if I can't find a pair of used Jefferey's to buy. Does anybody have a pair of 171 or 176 Jefferey's that that would want to sell me for around $350?

that's my exact setup, haven't had a chance to take pics of them yet. been skiing the past 4 days of blower in my own private ski area on them. my 191 caylors are going to see a lot less use i think.

another super fun day on the jmos, really didnt enjoy my first day too much, but today i was really starting to feel at home on them, still really different with they being wider and having a much much sharper edge than my park skis do, but they are carving better than my race skis ever did, rider switch super fun, the tails are super poopy and im getting used to them in the air

they are a little heavier im not gunna lie, i mounted look 18s on them and its a pretty beefy set up, i cant wait to get more comfortable on them so i can starting launching on the jumps

Got to ride my Caylors for the 5th and by far the deepest day. About 50cm of fresh snow here on Mt Washington, BC - which is notorious for its mashed potatoes powder tough to charge and carry speed through. Rest assured the Caylors had NO trouble getting pitted and busting through all the crud at lower elevations. Once again, Thanks to everyone at ON3P who makes days like today possible

The nature of the bamboo core is that is takes a couple days to break in - before then the skis sometimes feel strange, the elliptical sidecut is a little awkward at first too. When I got my Jeffreys last year I had forgotten how awkward it could be and was super confused for the first day or two. Trust me, it only gets better each day!

yeah i was wondering if the elliptical sidecut would feel different, i can definitely tell its is, when i want to make quick turns i just get aggressive and they turn like a slalom ski but when i want to make nice long turns i can just enjoy the ride! its like the 2 skis in one

I'm curious to know why I see the 2010 Wrenagade graphic on a lot of different models, including prototypes. I'm assuming because it's the best tragic to ever grace a pair of skis - but is there another reason? Can one simply order any ski with any graphic? **disclaimer - I'm relatively new to on3p. Forgive my ignorance.

The Wren was our favorite 10/11 graphic, so it ended up on a lot of 11/12 prototypes (BGs, C&D, Wrens, Viciks, and Pillowfights happened for sure, I cannot remember if we did it on any more models).

Once we had moved on from testing or needing them, we would sell them - so that is why you see a number of different models with the 10/11 Wren graphic. Still one of my favorites.

I don't have enough words to describe my feelings towards my Pillowfights. I only have 6 or 7 days on them so far, all from last season, but everyday I was on them was something from a dream except for one day which was 3" of dust on crust. Even that day, they floated beyond belief on the 3" and held their own on the chopped up and hard packed snow. They are way more versatile than their size would lead you to believe. I wouldn't take them out intentionally on shitty days, but it's nice to know they can definitely handle those types of conditions. In powder, the amount of float and maneuverability is unrivaled by anything else I've been on. I know I won't ride the Pillowfights every day, but I look forward to every chance I can take them out and put them to work. Powder skiing has never been so fun until I got on my Pillowfights.

I don't have an edit put together or anything, tons of gopro footage just taking up space on my hard drive, but I do have these few stills of some good times on my Pillowfights.

Damn man. You have the dream quiver too! Those still shots not only make me want to ski where you're skiing, but makes me wish I could demo those Pillowfights. What can go wrong with sexy women graphics and great performance? I might have to re-valuate my pow sticks mid next season..

Oddly enough, I was thinking about buying the Jeffery's in Jan-Feb for my daily drivers; and you just so happen to have a pair, too! Could you give me some insight on them? I've heard a lot about them.

im a little new to on3p and was wondering how you can obtain skis with all these different graphics on them, because a few look custom. aswell how do you order skis with different flex patterns?

Some of them are custom because of the "worst topsheet contest" (those are pretty obvious), some are the veneer topsheet (wooden looking ones - those are just an option in the shop) and others are just old/retro topsheets put on this years skis. As far as custom flex, since each ski is done by only a few people, there are some customizations that can be done, you just have to contact them via email to figure out how. However, they do most of their production in the summer/early fall...so you need to contact them before then. Benefits to buying from a smaller company, customization is a bit more possible.

Yeah and i think they are staying away from top sheet swaps this year unless its a previous years topsheet on a current model ski, which i think is $50 extra or so. Im sure they still do swaps for their close customers, because i have seen very few unmatched skis/graphics.

Yea, from a branding standpoint - using an old logo, old graphics, or swapping graphics isn't good for us, plus it can be a pain in the ass. However, if someone hates a graphic, sometimes it exceptions to the rule can be made... but it's definitely a case-by-case thing.

As for older graphics, prototype skis always get whatever we have laying around, and sometimes those get sold to friends of the employees. That's another reason you may see graphics changed up.

Custom topsheet skis also exhibit Murphy's Law rather well, if I slip on the Detuner and scuff the base, it's always the one custom ski we can't blem.

First day out on the Billy Goats today, and they held their own in everything. Snow was amazing, skis were amazing. I love everything about them. Can't wait to go tomorrow, and can't wait to take them for a tour next week
