Nikon, C/Y, M42, R, OM and T2 are all adaptable to Sony.
Sony has great lenses (Zeiss made), they just don't have a big variety, which I think doesn't really matter because they have enough good ones. They just lack big telephoto's, which nobody on here uses anyways and a TS lens, which will probably come with Samyang's TS.
They have a 24, 35, 50, 85 and 135mm prime (the last which is a f/1.8 which both Nikon and Canon don't offer) and 16-35, 24-70 and 70-200 which are all Zeiss made.
Sony gets way too much hate in the DSLR world. While they absolutely kill it in the video world, their DSLRS are great too.
rokinon, tokina, sigma, zeiss,minolta classic lenses can all be used.... also, even your old minolta lens becomes stablised since it has sensor shift IS. Oh and you can manualy focus with any lens like a beast with peaking.
