I like watching Pierre he doesn't have smooth style and all that jazz but who cares hes exciting to watch he jumps off hotels, drops the biggest cliffs and skis some ridiclous lines I think hes entertaining and isn't that the point of a pro? To be entertained when you watch them ski and he does it for me

There is odds in Vegas that he will die on from that record cliff jump.

Anybody can toss themselves off of a rock crash. It isn't a record jump unless you land and ski away from it under control. IMHO

That man is super sick. He must have masive nuts. That first line he skis is so smooth and he launches so fast off the drop. The 55m cliff may be a little crazy but he walked away from it and 99% of skiers wouldnt. AS for the praising god, each to their own, but go out and huck yourself of the biggest drop you have ever done, and the moment you pop over the edge and you see how far down it is - you are about as close to god as it gets. That is the reason I drop rocks any way. The point when you think - fuck this is alot higher than it looks but by that stage you are commited. Work your way up to bigger drops were that same tough has enough time to run through your head about 4-5 times before you land. Generally that is why I believe there is alot of fist pumping as people ski out of drops - they were shitting themself so much they are happy to be alive. But not helmet on is plan crazy.

NewSkool, not the same thing at all. Jamie chooses to do this, and he makes a living off it. It doesn't matter if you haven't ever dropped a cliff before; if you've even ever peeked over the top of a 50-fter and scared yourself shitless, think of skiing off that fucker. Then, think about skiing off a 150-fter like Jamie did in that video.

If I were dropping cliffs that big, I'd need all the insurance I could get, and that's where religion comes in.

Yes that jump was insane. But man I wish somebody would superglue a helmet to his head when he passes out all of his beer drinking. Otherwise I'm afraid I go to rent a dvd and I'll see Jamies death dismemberment fall on the cover of 'Faces of Death 20'.

I really hope some kid comes on here and asks questions about helmets and body armor before they try to emulate Jamie.
