Whats up guys, I'm getting new skis and looking at the sfb i ski the midwest. alot of park and a good carving ski..how well does the sfb handle the park..mostly jibs

it can hang in the park but i think a blend might be a hair more suitable. bacons a great 1 ski quiver but where the blend takes it would be this situation. when you wanna hang in the park and do some jibbing, at 100 the blend can still hang in the park and rip some pow aswell as groomers but you dont want a bacon at 108 doing that. Bacons great for slaying pow and it hooks like a mothafucka on hardpack, thats my 3 cents.

I rode bacons in the park last season because the snow never fell. They handled okay but at the recommended mount you def need to adjust how you slide rails. I would say go for it but in the midwest if it's icey the chatter in the crud could be a bit much. Line skis have never disappointed so^ agreed check out the blend. peace

go for the new chronics if you want a versatile park ski. bacons are a bit wide and chattery for the park. although EP shreds them pretty well:

they are kinda wide on rails. fun for butters and big jumps.

if i were u i would look at blends or chronics.

on hardpack the SFB cuts a nice GS turn. but watch out for ice. they get squirly!

when i rode the chronic, i didnt think it carved that well. it was a demo, so its hard to know what the tune was like, etc. but it was happier making turns and jibbing.

bacon carves a sweet turn unless its on the side of icy. bacon definitely prefers softer snow.

I skied Bacons in the park all season, loved them. I'm going to be riding them in an indoor comp tomorrow and you dont get a smaller hill than that, they can handle everything! I may switch to Blends this year but I may get a new pair of Bacons, i haven't decided yet.

I would go for them unless, as mentioned you encounter lots of ice, or your style is spin spin spin.

i already bought my chronics for this season but i may add the SFB it just looks like a super playful pow ski

i ski in the midwest on the sfb's. i'm used to lizzies so...but they're dope. as others said, not really for spinning 630's out or doing 3 sw ups a rail though. sw up 270 out they do just fine.

I would say it's excellent. i have around 120 days on mine, i think i have 3 edge cracks, none look like they are about to pull out. I ski maybe 90% rails.
