I still don't understand why everyone is so hard for a full frame video camera. 1.5/1.6/1.8/2 crops are perfectly fine (arguable better, since wide lenses arent that hard to find). This camera looks cool, but 24mp sensor? for a video camera? whyyyyy
I love full frame because of my lens setup. I've built it for a cam with a FF sensor, and it just works for me that way. It kind of sucks now that my cam is starting to deteriorate and I'm in the market for a new one, but doing a bit of photo work too, I'm ok keeping FF and paying extra to get it.
I mean, thats legit the only reason anyone should buy FF is if their lenses are made for FF but i mean a tokina 11-16 and you're set on a crop setup, so why do people invest in FF setups? I dunno, for some reason i thought it always had a "look" but thats fucking bullshit.
For canon, their FF sensors are superior to the crop ones for noise performance, by a long shot. The only nice canon APS-C sensor is in the c100/300. Mixed with me doing a bit of photo, FF is far far superior.
You can't even compare crop and full frame for photo, the dynamic range is just worlds better, as well as noise performance. Crop's only advantage used to be speed, but with the 5d3 and 1dx having super fast af/burst there is really no point unless your on a tight budget.
