Okay so as an EE I should probably know this, but I dont stay current on the best gaming stuff, just what we need to run our software smoothly.
As the computer world changes so often, I want to know the current best but not most expensive MB and graphics/video card on the market. I know I can drop like $2k for a MB but I am not doing that.
Is the LGA 1155 the best socket assuming an i7 is the best processor for gaming (I know it is for my work applications)
