I agree in part with what you are saying. but in reality when you look at it, europe doesnt act this way, north america doesnt act this way, fuck even russia doesnt act this way. I dont think we are supperior because of our technology or anything liike that. these nations I named are far superior morally in my opinion.

problem is they act according to religion and their god, and to some of them it is ok to avenge god by killing. that is not too morally advanced, neither is the way they treat women yet we still fucking let them in. I agree that they are not like that for sure, just go with the proportions, you have a few bigger chance of taking in someone with moral codes that dont match up to ours than if your taking in an immigrant from france for example.

i just let them get away with it because their religion is like 1400 years old. christianity was an utter shitstorm at this time, burning a bible wouldve definitely get you killed. when protestants tried to seperate, a war killing 60% or so of the german population.

i know its no excuse for them, but we ourselves needed 1800-1900 years to develop a morality without religion and to "push" religion where it belongs: in the private corner (more or less).

maybe its just a cultural thing. its sad that it is this way, but we cant really compare it to something else.



most importantly would be education and food in the concerned areas. i will say that a billion times again and over again.

People in our country are still relatively extreme in morals when it comes to religion, especially in comparison to many other 1st world countries....

Honestly fuck religion, it's caused far more problems than anything else in history of mankind.

I also fucking hate people who themselves are religous and call other religions stupid. I mean if you want to call someone's beliefs stupid look at your own. Religion is bullshit, but I won't go around saying it and making movies and BS about it because that'll just piss people off. WTF? Have people lost all respect for others?!

well, the definition of a war seems to be pretty ambiguous these days (or at any time for that matter).

but in a solid western country, there IS NO difference how you treat people who attack embassies and people who kill others for making a film and those who produce hateful films with the clear intention of provoking violence.

NO, all those people receive a proper trial and get thrown in jail when their guilt is proven.



if you disagree with that and you (or anyone in this thread) think that killing thousands of civilians in the countries where this shit goes down is justified if it can save american embassies, then say it and i can slowly back out of this thread.

well, in general, if he does it with the intention of starting a massive shitstorm that leads to hundreds of deaths, i would consider at least some (albeit short) jail sentence.

you just cannot walk around and scream "constitution" here "constitution" there. of course freedom of speech is a nice thing, but it has its borders (insult).


so at least in the western countries with a non-case law system, you cannot walk around and say "you fuckhead" to any person you meet. nor can i directly offend him for his religion, which could hurt him in the same way. obviously, that is facist/communist or whatever to you, but i like this.

learning to shut your fucking mouth and not go hiding behind the constitution everytime shit hits the fan because you said inexplicably dumb or offending things is pretty valuable.


i am not in the US, so to explain, i looked up "freedom of speech" and its legal consequences for insults in the US. and from what i read in those 5 minutes, it is pretty easy to formulate any racial, sexual, religious or personal insult in a way that you can hide behind freedom of speech, right?
