Only friends with aunt on facebook because she was sick and couldn't talk on the phone. Posted a status on facebook. Aunt commented on it and kind of called me out. Aunt posted a hard core callout status. I don't want to start a shitstorm, but I don't like people talking shit and not being able to respond.


What do I do.

I can't. If It was the last couple years I never would have made one. Place is a joke but it was just another myspace type thing when I made it, pretty harmless. It's really the only way I can get in contact with a lot of people across the country. Helps me find rides across the country if I get stranded, people to carpool with, places to stay, shows to hit, and just stay in contact with friends when phone numbers change. A lot of people I really don't have any other way to get a hold of them. Shit sucks. As much as I hate facebook, it's very useful to me in that aspect.

damn thats a shitty situation. i have to sorta agree with your status though. ive seen way too many of my Facebook "friends" thats were like 3 or 4 when 9/11 happened, post up " hit LIKE if you wish 9/11 didnt happen", or send prayers, generic statues, etc.. and honestly, i know theyve never done anything to support the victims. all they want are those precious "likes" that make them warm and fuzzy inside and help them sleep at night. i considered posting something like you did, but slightly dialed down, but i never post anything intellectual on facebook. doesnt usually end well.

I posted a fairly constructive reply for being sort of standard stream of consciousness. Sort of dug in a little but from the high road.
