Reasonably priced accomodation in Whistler over new years

Hi team,
I'm thinking about heading to Whistler for a week or two to surprise my sister for new years. I realize everything is going to be pretty expensive over that period but would like something reasonably nice, preferably apartment style or self contained. Does anyone have any recommendations for particular areas/towns/suburbs I should be looking?
inb4 google... inb4 pics of sister etc etc
Thanks!

Well, that is probably true, but I guess I was meaning in a relative sense

Prices more than double around Xmas/New Years, so good luck :)

Bring a sleeping bag, leave your car in one of the free lots, and go get shittered at one of the clubs. The "Whistler Challenge" involves going home with a MILF and staying in the Four Seasons—that's if you do very well. It's considered a success if you don't sleep in your car.
Worst case scenario, you drunkenly stumble back to your car and pass the fuck out. Don't worry about setting an alarm, you'll wake up at sunrise no matter what, and then you can go to Starbucks to get warm.
