Hey NS, it looks like I may get an opportunity to get more involved with the setup and maintenance of the park at my local hill this season. I am looking for some pointers and tips from anyone with experience on a park crew.
Now, I know the basics of setting up features. That part is pretty straight forward, its more the maintenance part that I find difficult, and I have a few questions in that regard. The main issue I notice is that a week or so after a fresh park rebuild, the lips have all become rock solid and become extremely hard to fix and maintain by hand.
So I guess here are my questions.
1)What daily maintenance work should be done to keep up the quality of the park?
2)What can be done to fix a lip, landing, or whatever that has frozen rock solid.
Keep in mind that I am from the midwest, and ice is a major concern. Also the groomer time in the park is pretty minimal, so most maintenance has to be done by hand.
