hey im really considering a pair of new lifes next year. ive been on the original ep's for awhile and they arent gonna last another season.
so my only concern with the new lifes is the stiffness, i loved how soft the ep's were, and that you could actually flex the ski a bit in powder and buttering wasnt just diving your tips into the snow, you could actually be in deep powder and butter with the ski flexing a bit. never really felt it was too soft.
new lifes seem pretty stiff, ive kinda wanted to try out a stiffer big rocker powder ski, i could see how it could be fun, but how does it do for BC jibbing type stuff? thats really what i spend most my time doing, and they will probably see a bit of time in the park too.
might even consider the lab 001, its a tad softer i think, and the convex base seems so awesome for powder, and could be crazy fun in the park.
