Why does my footage look like this? Help!

I have a t2i and have been (trying) to film for a rope swing ish type edit. But every time I film at this spot the videos turn out sooooo shitty.

I've tried some different things like going at different times of day to see if the light had anything to do with it but that didn't help.

Here's a link to the raw video straight off the camera of a shot i took the other day. It was 720 at 60fp.

and here's a video I made for another thread on here a bit ago. The quality looks fine in this video so i'm not sure what to do. This was shot with 1080 so maybe thats why? i don't think stooping down to 720 would cause such a dramatic loss of quality but who knows?
I know probably all of you have more experience than me so any help is appreciated.

I think quality wise it looks fine. It's a bit underexposed and the lighting is pretty poor, I think that's the only issue. Try and film from the other side of the river, it might give it a better look. A clear day would also help, or get it during sun down

Just to be clear i mean the mediafire link not the vimeo video.

To me the video looks like i could have taken it on a cell phone camera. If you look at the bridge in the background at some points it looks "jagedy" It has sharp edges too it.
The stumps close to the camera look pixelated and not clear.

The point of focus was directly where the skateboard is and even then when im standing on the skateboard it doesn't look like im focused correctly even tho i'm positive it was focused correctly.

I just don't know what i'm doing wrong.

yeah, I downloaded the file.

It looked okay to me. Check your settings

Picture Profile - play around with it see what looks best
Aperature- for that shot I'd go for 5-8
ISO- 160, 320, or 640
Shutter- 120/140

These are just the settings I'd use, everyone's different

Next time ill make sure the apertures around those numbers and this shot was 100 or 160 iso. I can't quite remember.
Thinking about it more now i think ill try and go back in the morning sometime. Then the sun will be shining toward whoevers on the tree and will maybe help with lighting.
