Help me pick out a game

Alright so I've been playing the same 3 games for PS3 for the last 4 months or so. And I wanna get a new one. I wanna get something like Fallout or Skyrim, where I won't have the storyline beat in 3 days, but I've also been into horror games lately, so I wanna get something with a scare-factor to it. My buddy said Deadspace, but that game didn't look scary for shit. Any of you fuckers got a good game to recommend?

I've already got skate 3 at whatever the max time is on 2 consoles... Somewhere around 140 hours. Aha, but yeah Amnesia looked cool I might go for that.

Get Crysis 2. It kicks ass. I'm not sure if they have it for PS3. I know they have it for Xbox 360.

buy the assassins creed series. not really scary but it really pulls you in and you learn some pretty cool facts along the way.

skyrim is awesome. fallout 3 is awesome. minecraft is actually really fun for 20 dollars download despite the unwarranted hate some people have against it, skate 3 definitely, and cod is you want to yell at 10 year olds for shits and gigs.

I wouldn't call them "facts." They just alter history in a way that makes it seem like it could be fact. With that being said, the assassins creed series has the best storyline out of any video game series hands down IMO

I think you'd be better off learning about renaissance history from reading an actual history book rather than playing the game and reading the small blurbs on the people and locations.  Try reading The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. It's full of useful information.
